Water pollution is a large set of adverse effects upon water bodies (lakes,rivers,oceans,groundwater) caused by human activities. Although natural phenomena such as volcanoes, storms, earthquakes etc. Also cause major changes in water quality and the ecological status of water, these are not deemed to be pollution.

Water pollution has many causes and characteristics. Increases in nutrient loading may lead to eutrophication. Organic wastes such as sewage and farm waste impose high oxygen demandas on the receiving water leading to oxygen depletion with potentially severe impacts on the whole eco-system. Industries discharge a variety of pollutants in their wastewater including heavy meatals, organic toxins,oils, nutricients, and solids. Discharges can also have thermal effects, especially those from power stations, and these too reduce the available oxygen. Silt-bearing run off from many activities including construction sites, forestry and farms can inhibit the penetration of sunlight through the water column restricting photosynthesis and causing blanketing of the lake or  river bed which in turns damage the ecology.

Aloe Vera is also known as the ‘Crocodile ‘s Tongue’ plant in Indonesioa. It is called so because  the leave is thick, long and sharp, and the sides are serrated loke the body of the crocodile. Aloe vera is planted in dry areas and in warm climates. It takes little water to grow.

Aloe vera is a short-stemmed succulent plant growing to 60-100 cm tall. Spreading by offsets, the stems are thick and fleshy, green to grey green, with varieties showing white flecks on the upper andlower stems surfaces.

Alue vera is multifunctional plant. It can be used to cure a wound clause by burning. Using alue vera to the wound is easy and simple. Pick the leave, peel the rind, then squeeze the sticky liquide and spread it over the wound. Aloe vera  also can be  made into healthy drink to prevent rheumatism and diabetes because it contains vitamin and minerals. Generally, the drink helps to repair the demaged cells and makes the organs of the human body work well. Aloe vera can also make  our hair thick too. Apply it over scalp and massage it gently so it could soak throughly. Ten minutes later, rinse the hair.
